Watch the Audi e-tron GT Livestream Reveal at 1PM EST

We’re less than a couple of hours away from the official reveal of the Audi e-tron GT. It’s been a long time coming, as we first saw the concept car back in 2019. However, we’re finally going to see the production car at 1PM EST and Audi is going to livestream the event, which you’ll be able to watch by clicking these words.

Before the official reveal, though, there’s still a ton of content to check out. Audi has been releasing videos about the e-tron GT for days now; interviews with influential people and technical demonstrations. The most recent features actor/producer Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises, Dunkirk), who talks about the future and how we all need to work together to create a better, more sustainable world.

One of the videos also features Audi Formula E driver Lucas di Grassi and former Formula One driver and world champion Nico Rosberg. Ironically, Rosberg raced for Mercedes-AMG in Formula One, so he’s jumping ship a bit by driving the Audi e-tron GT. I’m sure Audi is happy about that switch but the folks in Affalterbach are probably pretty pissed.

In the video, Rosberg races an Audi RS e-tron GT (judging by the “RS” badges on the headrests) against di Grassi’s Formula E race car. you’d imagine that the race car smokes the e-tron GT, considering it’s a race car. It does win the short drag race but it’s much closer than you’d think, which is genuinely remarkable, being that the Audi e-tron GT weighs probably twice what the race car does. Still, it’s a cool race to watch and really shows off the performance of the RS e-tron GT.

We can’t wait for the official reveal. We’ve been waiting a long time for this and it’s our most heavily anticipated Audi in a long time. Stay tuned for 1PM, we’ll have all the coverage you need.

I've been in love with cars since I was a kid, specifically German cars. Now I get to drive them talk about them on the internet.
