As you might have already heard, the Audi RS3 Sportback has recently received a refresh. Audi gave it some new headlights and taillights to match its newer sedan sibling, as well as a power bump to 400 hp. So there’s some new life in the RS3 Sportback, allowing it to take on its newer competitors.
In this new video promo from Audi, we take a look at the RS3 bombing down some gorgeous windy roads as well as a race track. It looks fantastic, as it always has, but better than ever and it certainly flies. Obviously, this is just a quick promo from Audi, so we’re not getting any objective looks but it’s still cool to watch.
Something had me wondering, though. The Audi RS3 Sportback is supposed to be the all-weather hot hatch that can tackle snow equally as well as it does the track. So why didn’t we see the RS3 Sportback tearing up muddy woods or a snowy trail. Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system was born on dirt, snow and gravel, as the original Audi Quattro dominated the World Rally Championship when it first hit the market. Audi should promote more of that.
