YouTuber Gumbal has put together a video tribute for the now defunct Audi RS6 DTM.
As you probably have heard by now, the heavily modified RS6 Avant owned by Jon Olsson (and sold to Douwe Leitner) was the victim of a grand theft auto last week. What’s worse is the fact that the thieves actually burned the car to the ground after discovering they can’t restart it since the keys were still at the owner.
Now, Gumbal on YouTube has decided to elaborate a video tribute for the Audi RS6 DTM which during its glory days was able to unleash more than 1,000 HP when running on race gas. The car had a heavily modified twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine featuring 18-karat gold anodized TTE9XX turbochargers and came with a reworked body kit made from carbon fiber.
It’s sad to see the car is now nothing more than burned metal, especially since it was almost brand new, having been introduced back in April this year. We hope Jon Olsson will decide to have another one custom built and he’ll make it just as spectacular as the previous which he actually used for a couple of hours as an Uber car on the streets of Stockholm.
