Without question, the Audi RS Q8 is among the best performance SUVs on the planet. It might not be the fastest in a straight line but it once broke the record for the fastest SUV around the Nürburgring (a record that’s since been beaten by the Porsche Cayenne GT). So it can handle like a genuine sports car. Interestingly, though, it’s still a bit of a sleeper.
Take a quick look at the Audi RS Q8 and it barely looks like more than just a well-equipped Audi Q8. However, hold that gaze a bit longer and you’ll realize it sports some more aggressive aero and giant 23″ wheels wrapped in absurdly sticker rubber. The RS Q8 is not for the faint of heart.
Under the hood lies a 4.0 liter twin-turbocharged V8, that makes 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. It can get from 0-60, realistically, in about 3.5 seconds and can handle a twisty road like a sports car.
The video below shows off the RS Q8 wearing Mythos Black Metallic, black wheels, and dark carbon fiber trim. While its all-black performance look is menacing, the car inherently isn’t that menacing looking. But that’s a good thing, as it can sort of fly under the radar.
I also personally love the Cognac interior. One of the best aspects of the Audi RS Q8 is its interior and how comfortable and spacious it is. With a Cognac cabin, it contrasts the aggressive and stylish exterior color with a more luxurious, more elegant interior color that actually works really well.
Which leads me one another attribute of the RS Q8’s — its comfort. Despite riding on gigantic wheels and having suspension capable of breaking records at the ‘Ring, the Audi RS Q8 is a surprisingly comfortable car. Its ride is smooth, its cabin is quiet, and its free of any harsh NVH (noise, vibration, harshness). As a do-it-all performance machine, it’s hard to beat the RS Q8. Especially when it looks this good.
