VIDEO: Take a closer look at the Audi RS6 Avant from Auditography

It’s hard to not be excited about the newly announced 2020 Audi RS6 Avant. Firstly, it’s a damn-near 600 hp uber-wagon that looks like it wants to punch everything in the face. That’s great on its own. Secondly, it’s coming to America for the first time. So naturally we’re excited about it and we’re not alone. Which is why this new video from Auditography is well worth a watch.

In this new video,w e get a closer look at the all-new RS6 Avant, which shows off some of its finer details. Of course, we don’t get to see it drive because Audi hasn’t let anyone drive it yet but this is the closest look we’re going to get for some time. Test drives will come soon enough. And we actually get to test drive it this time because it’s coming ‘Stateside.

When you actually see video of it, how light moves across its heavily sculpted body, it looks so much more aggressive. It’s muscular and angry looking, thanks to its massive flared wheel arches, newly sculpted hood and large rear wing. It might be the most aggressive looking wagon we’ve ever seen.

Audi should also be commended for its design. Typically, Audi Sport cars lack much differentiation from the standard Audi cars on which they’re based. Not so with the Audi RS6 Avant. In fact, it’s so different on the outside that only three body panels are carried over from the standard A6 Avant; the tailgate, roof and front door panels. That’s it, everything else is new.

Admittedly, the inside is quite similar to the standard A6 Avant, only with sportier seats and a new RS-gauge in the Virtual Cockpit. That’s no hardship, though, as even the standard A6 cabin is excellent. So adding some sportier bits only makes it that much better.
