We all dream of driving supercars. It’s why kids grow up with Lamborghini posters on their wall or drawing pictures of Porsche’s on their schoolwork. There’s just something so desirable about a car that looks exotic, sounds incredible and goes like hell. One of the most exciting and enjoyable cars on the road is the Audi R8 V10 Spyder. Thanks to its spaceship looks, screaming V10 and folding roof, there are few supercars in the world that can thrill like the R8 Spyder. If you want to at least see what it looks like to flog one on a gorgeous mountain road, check out this video.
In this new video, we see this driver’s POV view thanks to a helmet-cam as he downright hustles an Audi R8 V10 Spyder on a twisty scenic road and it looks flipping fast. He borrowed the car from ADP Performance / RaceChip but doesn’t say whether or not the car has been chipped or modded, so we don’t know if it’s putting out stock power. Either way, the least amount of power it can make is 540 hp from its 5.2 liter naturally-aspirated V10 engine. And either way, it looks incredibly fast.
Actually, it looks scary fast. There are a few moments where I was wondering if the driver could handle the upcoming corner at the speed he was traveling. Especially considering so many of the corners were blind and there was no way of knowing if another car was coming from the other side and sometimes he’d round the corner with a parked car almost within crashing distance.
But, we get to see the pure, vicious acceleration and hear that incredible V10 scream. It looks so exciting and like so much fun. This is the stuff that makes kids grow up wanting supercars. Check it out.
