The MTM Audi RS6 Avant is a 1,001 horsepower monster of a machine. Aside from its mega power output, it also gets a lowered suspension, new wheels, new carbon fiber-backed racing seats, and carbon fiber aero everywhere. It’s the most extreme RS6 Avant we’ve seen since this current generation debuted and it’s hard not to love. In this new video from Auditography, we get to see the monster RS6 climb the Alps.
On the winding, serpentine mountain roads of the Alps, the MTM Audi RS6 Avant looks menacing. Its bright red paintwork, black livery, and black trim makes it look as if it’s about to eat every other car on the mountain. It sounds it, too, as the furious 1,001 horsepower twin-turbo V8 lets out a deep, angry road, like an angry bear.
In the video, we get to see the MTM-tuned RS6 drive through some of the twisty mountain roads but we also get a ton of up close glamour shots, which show off the car’s detail. If you’re a nerd like we are, seeing all of the mechanical bits of the seats, their tracks, and the hardware that keeps them in place is really cool. We also get to see it accelerate from 100-300 km/h (62-186 mph), doing so in just 17.2 seconds. That’s seriously rapid and far more so than anyone would expect a wagon to be. At the height of its pull, the RS6 recorded 0.7 g of accelerative force, which is extreme at 100 km/h.
No Audi RS6 Avant owner actually needs that much power, as it’s already an immensely fast car. However, if you have the money and the means to get MTM to tune your RS6 to this level of power, you probably should. When else are you going to be able to have a 1,001 horsepower wagon that seats five comfortable and road trip through the Alps?
