VIDEO: Is the ABT Audi SQ5 the best looking SUV out right now?

If you’ve ever visited our site before, you’d know that we’re big fans of ABT Sportsline. We don’t think anyone tunes Audis like ABT does and the ABT Audi SQ5 is a great example. But is it the best looking SUV out right now? We’re not sure about that but it certainly makes a compelling argument for itself in this new video from Auditography.

Seen here in Glacier White Metallic, the ABT Audi SQ5 looks damn good. The black Singleframe grille and air intakes look fantastic in contrast with the white paint, as do the black mirror caps. At the back, there’s a roof spoiler that accentuates the fact that this is an SQ5 and not a standard Q5. The best part, though? Real exhaust pipes. The standard Audi SQ5 has fake little plastic panels instead of actual exhausts, which looks really cheesy. ABT fits real pipes instead of fake panels, four of them and they’re finished in carbon fiber. They look properly angry and sound it, too.

This ABT-tuned SQ5 makes no secret of how powerful it is. And it is powerful. With the ABT Sportsline power upgrade, the Audi SQ5 makes 425 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque from its 3.0 liter turbocharged V6. That’s a good bump in power from the standard car’s 354 hp and 369 lb-ft. So the ABT Audi SQ5 can likely get from 0-60 mph faster than the standard car’s 5.1 seconds. So expect it to get there in around 4.8 seconds.

In this video, we get a good look at the ABT Audi SQ5 and it shows that the ABT upgrades are well worth whatever they cost. Not only do they add some very needed aggression to what is normally a pretty sedate looking performance SUV but they also add the power and performance to back it up. Is it the best looking SUV on the market right now? We can’t necessarily say that but it looks damn good, that’s for sure.
