MTM was one of the first tuners to work on the Audi RS6 Avant and their Nogaro Blue project is one of the most powerful. With a whopping 1,000 horsepower under its hood, the MTM RS6 is an absolute beast. It also looks incredible.
Nothing about the exterior looks different than stock, which is maybe why it looks so good. It simply wears a Nogaro Blue paint job and some blacked-out badges. It even sits on stock wheels. However, that’s al it needs, as the RS6 Avant is a gorgeous car and one that turns heads right from the factory.
Though, it does have an MTM tuned exhaust, which does help that monster 1,000 horsepower engine breath better, as well as sound killer. In Europe, the Audi RS6 Avant gets an OPF exhaust filter, like every other car, so it sounds a bit too tame from the factory. With the MTM exhaust, though, it has a deep, aggressive burble.
Stock power from the RS6 is around 600 horsepower, so the bump to 1,000 horsepower is huge. However, it doesn’t take too much to get there, as we’ve seen up to 800 horsepower from just an ECU tune. This car also has 921 lb-ft of torque (1,250 Nm) and, according to MTM, can rocket from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds, which is absurd for a wagon.
To get this sort of power, you have to opt for MTM’s Stage 4 tune, so there’s actually quite a bit of work done to it to reach that sort of power. Though, if you have the means and want your wagon to eat supercars for breakfast, this MTM upgrade seems entirely worth it. Especially considering the fact that yours can look as normal and conspicuous as the car in this video. That way, you can drive around, seemingly harmlessly, and then ruin the egos of every supercar owner you come across.
