Now that Audi has revealed the new A6 Avant, it’s really all we can talk about. And it seems it’s all anyone else can talk about as well. In this new video from Carwow, we take a look at a few key points about the new A6 Avant, including its styling, tech and practicality.
Starting off with styling, Carwow seems to think it’s a smart looking wagon that’s very stereotypically Audi. There is a poll, though that asks viewers whether or not the A6 is better looking than its rivals. At the time of writing this, that poll has the A6 Avant way ahead of its rivals, with a commanding 53-percent of the vote. At that’s even with its fake exhausts.
As far as the interior goes, it has basically the same interior as the Audi A7 and that’s no bad thing. It looks fantastic, features top-notch materials and is loaded with tech. The new MMI infotainment system looks good and works well but isn’t as easy to use as the old swivel wheel while driving.
In terms of practicality, the Audi A6 Avant has quite a lot of space and is a practical wagon but it doesn’t have as much space as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate. Which is surprising, actually. Audi’s front-wheel drive-based chassis usually provide more cargo space than rear-wheel drive-based ones.
We won’t spoil the rest of the video for you but it basically goes through each of the talking points about the new A6 Avant and gives you a brief rundown. It’s a good video to watch if you’re interested in buying the A6 Avant and if you are, that means you live in Europe, and we’re incredibly jealous and now no longer like you. I’m kidding about the not liking you part but the jealousy part is real.
