VIDEO: Auditography Adds an Audi S8 V10 to the Collection

If you’ve seen any Auditography videos, you’d know that they’re some of the best looking fan videos for Audis. You’d also know that his collection of Audis is getting quite impressive. His latest addition to the collection is this stunning D3-gen 2009 Audi S8 V10.

The D3 Audi S8 V10 was one of the coolest cars Audi’s ever made, if we’re honest. Not only was it a monstrously fast, uber-luxurious, four-door limo but it had one of the coolest engines ever fitted to a luxury sedan. It used a 5.2 liter naturally-aspirated V10 engine, which actually originated in the Lamborghini Gallardo. It made 450 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. While that’s not an massive amount of power by today’s standards but it more than makes up for it with its free-breathing V10 nature.

Auditography’s D3 Audi S8 wears an Ibis White exterior paint, over a tri-color interior; white, beige, and maroon. It’s a very luxurious, interesting color combo. It also sits on 21″ C7.5 Audi RS6 wheels and it also looks lower but there’s no word on whether it’s running any suspension modifications.

It’s hard to not love the D3 Audi S8 V10. It came from a time when Audi’s interiors were simple but elegant and over-built. It not only looks incredibly special inside but its material quality is top-notch.

On the outside, its understated but sophisticated looks are a breath of fresh air in this modern, overly-styled age of cars. There’s something very perfect about the way the D3 S8 looks.

But the best part is that V10. There are a lot of luxury sedans with big, powerful engines. However, there aren’t a lot of luxury sedans that have genuine supercar engines under their hoods. Especially today, when homogenized V8s are the only big engines used in powerful luxury cars. The D3 Audi S8 used a purebred, naturally-aspirated V10 engine from Lamborghini. How many sedans can say that?
