VIDEO: Audi RS6 Avant is Stunning in Ipanema Brown Metallic

The Audi RS6 Avant is one of the best looking cars in Audi’s lineup. Its butch wheel arches, sharp lines, and sleek wagon body style also make it one of the best looking cars in the segment. However, every time we see one, it’s in a boring shade of gray or black. With a car as special as the RS6, a special color is needed. A color like this stunning Ipanema Brown Metallic.

I’m firmly in the bronze car camp and love to see a car in a great shade of bronze. Which is why the Ipanema Brown Audi RS6 in this new video from Auditography really speaks to me.

Ipanema Brown is a lovely deep brown that’s more bronze than anything else. Its metallic flake makes it pop in sunlight and makes the already gorgeous RS6 look even better. It also works really well with all of the RS6’s gloss black accents.

On the streets of Warsaw, Poland, the car’s stunning paint looks fantastic among the backdrop of brown, yellow, and green houses. As per usual with Auditography, the visuals are on point in this video.

The interior of this specific car is a two-tone brown and black combo that works perfectly with the Ipanema Brown paint. I wasn’t sold on that interior combo until I saw it in this video, with this exterior paint, and now I’m a fan.

Under the skin, the Audi RS6 Avant uses a 4.0 liter twin-turbocharged V8 to make 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. It also gets Quattro all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering and, if you live in Europe, a choice of either air suspension or the fixed DRC (Dynamic Ride Control) suspension, which comes with cross-linked hydraulic dampers. The RS6 isn’t the fastest car in the class but it’s still seriously quick, getting from 0-60 mph in just over three seconds. It can also carry five adults and packs a big trunk, making it just as practical as it is fun.

And if you get it in a killer color, like this Ipanema Brown Metallic, it will look as exotic as a supercar.
