Awhile back, Audi launched its second-generation Q5 in Mexico and a few lucky journalists had the chance to go and drive it. Mat Watson of Carwow was one of those journos and made a video review of the Q5, more specifically, a 360 degree video review from the interior of the car.
These 360 degree videos are pretty cool because they actually put you inside the car. Instead of just seeing the camera angles shot in the video review, you can actually rotate the camera a full 360 degrees inside the Q5 on your own while the video is playing. Admittedly, you have to have an internet browser that’s compatible, but if you do it’s a cool video to watch.
The second-gen Audi Q5 is built on the brand’s new MLB platform which also underpins the new Audi A4 and Q7. It packs the new 2.0 liter TFSI engine that makes 252 hp and is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It’s design is fresh and features a lot of the same themes as the new Q7, giving it a more premium look. On the inside, the Audi Q5 seems to combine the features of the Audi A4 and Q7 and is a drastic improvement over the previous generation. We’re excited to drive the new Audi Q5 to see how much Audi’s improved the best-selling model. This 360 degree video offers the best way to get inside the Q5 without actually being in it.
