VIDEO: Audi Q4 e-tron teased ahead of Geneva Motor Show

We know that, for Audi, the 2019 Geneva Motor Show will focus mostly on electric mobility. In Geneva, we will see the Audi Q4 e-tron Concept, four new plug-in hybrids and apparently a teaser for the Audi e-tron Sportback. All of which is very exciting. But the most exciting has to be the Q4 e-tron and Audi recently teased it in a short clip ahead of its Swiss debut.

The reason why the Audi Q4 e-tron is the most exciting of the bunch is because it’s going to be a pretty production-ready concept car that will eventually become an affordable electric crossover. While the Audi e-tron is amazing and the e-tron GT is stunning, the former costs $75,000 to start and the latter will be even more expensive. So they’re not going to be volume sellers.

However, the Audi Q4 e-tron should be significantly cheaper and more in the realm of what most Audi customers can afford. Also, with its coupe-like styling, it should be a bit more interesting looking than the original e-tron SUV.

In this short teaser, we get to see the front of the Audi Q4 e-tron, though it’s a bit hidden in the dark. Some flashes of light reveal a bit of the concept, with a close up of the “e-tron” logo on the front bumper, similar to the “Quattro” logo on the front of Audi Sport cars and the original Audi Quattro.

Then the screen goes black and reads “Committed to vision zero”. This is the first we’re hearing that phrase but we’re assuming Audi is talking about zero emissions. We’re also assuming this is going to be a tagline heavily featured in the press release come March 5 in Geneva, as the brand will be pushing EVs and hybrids hard.

We’re excited to see the Audi Q4 e-tron Concept and thankfully we don’t have to wait too long.
