VIDEO: Audi e-tron GT helps Spider-Man at the Science Fair

Audi and Marvel have been two peas in a pod ever since Iron Man drove the original R8 back in 2008. Now, eleven years and many movies later, that relationship is stronger than ever, as not only one but three Audi models will be in the upcoming movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home. In this new video from both Audi and Marvel, Peter Parker and his friend Ned use the Audi e-tron GT as their presentation in a science fair.

Of course, they didn’t make the Audi e-tron GT. However, upon seeing the rest of the contestants and their entries, Peter and Ned decided to bend the rules a bit to try and win the fair. So he called up S.H.I.E.L.D. and asks to borrow the e-tron GT.

Obviously, the agent on the other end of the phone is a bit apprehensive to lend Spider-Man the uber-fast electric Audi for the fair. To convince him, Spider-Man promises to swing past his son’s birthday party. After the ageing reluctantly agrees, Spider-Man fetches the Audi e-tron GT and arrives just in time for the judging to begin. You’d think that with a car like that, they’d win the prize. Except, a miniature homemade “arc reactor” took first place. Deservedly so. At least they got second place.

Spider-Man: Far From Home debuts July 2 and is takes place immediately after Avengers: Endgame. For all of you Marvel nerds (myself included), it wraps up Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it’s an important movie. It’s also important for the partnership between Audi and Marvel. The Audi e-tron SUV, Q8 and A7 will also make appearances. So check out Spider-Man: Far From Home in a couple of weeks and not only see the conclusion of over a decade of superhero movies but some kickass Audis as well.
