A heavily modified Audi S4 from the B5 generation made a big splash at a recent Rollin50 event.
High-performance Audis have always been a source of inspiration for tuners worldwide and a fine example is this S4 (B5) which although looks mostly stock from the outside, it’s a real monster once you open up the hood. We don’t know what sort of mods this car has but with a whopping 1,088 bhp on tap, it’s certainly one of the fastest S4s out there.
Moreover, it sounds absolutely brutal when the engine is revved hard and as you can see it was a worthy adversary for some high-end sportscars such as the Porsche 911 and a 900 bhp Mercedes-Benz C63. That being said, it wasn’t a match for the fully modified kart which thanks to a very low weight and 230 bhp at its disposal, managed to beat the Audi S4 B5 in a rolling start race.
It will be interesting to see what will tuners do to the brand new S4 of the B9 generation which has made the switch to a TFSI 3.0-liter V6 engine that in its standard configuration puts out 354 PS (260 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque, good enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 4.7 seconds and a 155 mph (250 km/h) electronically-governed top speed.
