VIDEO: Valet driven Lamborghini Aventador catches fire

There’s always the fear that when you valet your car, the teenaged valet driver will do something stupid in your precious car or steal something. Basically, valet drivers aren’ the most trusted of people to handle you car. This is especially true in the case of expensive exotic supercars. Would you let someone who just got their driver’s license and gets paid minimum wage drive your six-figure supercar? Probably not, because you’d be worried about something bad happening to it.

Well, that’s exactly what happened to this Florida¬†Lamborghini Aventador owner. The owner, who is unknown at this point, valeted their car and the driver decided to have some fun with the Arancio Argos Aventador. Except, this inexperience driver decided to rev the engine out too far for too long and the car ended up catching fire.

A man with a fire extinguisher came over to help put out the fire, but by then the damage was already done and the big Lambo was virtually ruined. However, some people came over to help push it off of the road.

The moral of the story is don’t valet your car, especially if it’s something expensive, powerful and exotic. This sort of thing happens more often than you’d hope it would, so make sure you don’t hand your keys over to anyone without you present.
