Journalist and motorsport communicator Stefan Moser is now the Head of Audi Product Communications. The 54-year-old is going to report to Toni Melfi who is the Head of Audi Communications. Moser has arrived to Audi from Volkswagen where he was Head of Motorsport Communications and has a long experience within the Volkswagen Group.
Stefan Moser completed a traineeship as a bank employee and then he studied politics as well as economics in Frankfurt, Germany. In the 1987 – 1998 period, Moser was a radio presenter for RPR, a regional radio station based in Germany. He also penetrated the motorsport journalism domain by becoming a reporter and after that he was the chief editor of the Michael Schumacher Magazine.
Starting 2002, Stefan Moser was an on-track commentator at Formula 1 and DTM races and a commentator for various TV stations such as RTL, n-tv and Eurosport. He was appointed as Head of Motor Communications at Volkswagen since 2009 and starting this month he will be responsible for Audi Product Communications.
Stefan Moser will certainly have a lot on his plate taking into consideration Audi’s continuous lineup expansion as the Ingolstadt-based automaker is broadening its customer base by offering brand new models in various segments.
