SPIED: Next-Gen Audi S3 Sportback seen without any camo

Spy photos for the next-generation Audi A3/S3 have been all over the internet as of late. We’ve actually seen a lot of spy photos for the brand’s latest entry-level car. While we’ve been able to see quite a bit of the car, each and every photo of it has shown us a heavily camouflaged car. Some new spy photos have surfaced, showing off a completely un-camouflaged Audi S3 Sportback.

In these new spy photos from Instagram CocheSpias, we get to see the next-gen Audi S3 Sportback wearing a sort of black/white/red wrap in lieu of camouflage. While it looks a bit funky, it gives us a complete look at the new car’s styling, both front and back, and we’re encouraged.

Up front, the new Audi S3 is very aggressive and sportier than the outgoing car. It features Audi’s newest familial grille design, with a very small trim surround, a honeycomb-design insert and three little vents at the top of it. It also gets some aggressive looking air intakes and they don’t look to be fake, which is encouraging, but we’ve been fooled before.

Ya no da mucho juego a la imaginación. Así es el Audi S3 que a penas lleva camuflaje. ¿Qué os parece? #AudiS3 #Newaudi #newaudiS3 #instaaudi #carspy #fotosespia #audifans #audia32020

Out back, we get new taillights, which are wider and sharper than before, as well as quad exhaust (as is typical of an ‘S’ car) and a large-ish rear diffuser. It also gets a decently sized rear roof spoiler, which adds to the sportiness of the car.

We’re very excited about the next-gen Audi S3 Sportback. It will look better than the current, outgoing car, being both sportier and more premium. We can’t wait to see it in person, see its new interior upgrades and, most importantly, drive the thing. While the current S3 is okay to drive, we’re optimistic that Audi has improved the driving engagement of this new car, thanks to an updated chassis, steering and performance.
