SPIED: First look at the Audi Q8 interior

Since Audi’s announcement that it would be making a Q8, we’ve seen a couple of different concept variants. So far, there have been the Audi Q8 Concept and Audi Q8 Sport Concept. Both of which we’ve seen in person at auto shows, both inside and out. From what we can tell from the concepts, the Audi Q8 will be one of Audi’s most high-tech cars in its history. However, often times concepts are far more overblown than the production cars they eventually become. Fortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case with the Audi Q8, at least on the inside.

Some new spy photos have recently surfaced, showing off the cabin of the new Audi Q8 (We don’t own the spy photos but they can be seen here). Inside the new Q8, it seems that Audi is borrowing its interior design language from the brand-new Audi A8. So you get a two-tiered touchscreen infotainment system, just like the A8. You also get the same sort of horizontal air vents above the front trim, which has sort of become an Audi staple now. Although, the steering wheel isn’t from the A8 but looks like it comes from the Q7.

We get to see the outside in these photos as well, but we’ve seen the Q8 spied from the exterior before and it looks just like that. We have a good idea of what the Q8 is going to look like from the outside already, as the spy photos show a car that’s quite similar to the concept. Though, it looks pretty good, so there’s no harm in that.

The Audi Q8 will be the brand’s flagship SUV, with more luxury and technology than anything else in the lineup. So expect some of the same tech as the Audi A8, namely its Level 3 Autonomy. It just might even get the personal foot massager.

We’re excited about the Audi Q8 and these spy photos only add to that excitement, as the interior looks quite good.
