SPIED: 2018 Audi RS5 Coupe caught testing at the Nurburgring

We recently just saw the worldwide debut of the upcoming Audi RS3 Sedan at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. However, another Audi RS car is making some headlines. The upcoming 2018 Audi RS5 Coupe  has been caught running around the Nurburgring in full body camouflage. It looks quick.

We see it go around the famed carousel — a turn that’s steeply band and has caused numerous crashes — really, really quickly. It also sounds damn good, too. Unfortunately, the brilliant 4.2 liter naturally-aspirated V8 will be replaced with a new 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged V6, which simply doesn’t sound as incredible. It does still sound good and it will deliver a whopping 500 hp, so not all is bad.

There isn’t much we can tell about the way the RS5 looks, thanks to all of the camo. However, we can tell that it’s the RS5 due to the twin, big exhaust pipes, instead of the quad exhaust of the S5. We can also see the same sort of wheels that come on the current RS5, but expect those to be different when it makes production.

Check it out.
