Seven Audi R8 LMS ultra cars set to compete in the 12-hour race at Bathurst

Seven Audi R8 LMS ultra cars are set to compete this weekend in Australia at the 12-hour race at Bathurst. As a reminder, Audi won the 2011 and 2012 races and now they are back on the 6.12 km long “roller-coaster circuit” to compete with eight other automakers and at the start of the race there will be a total of 29 GT3 sports cars.

The circuit is located about 200 km west of Sydney and contains sections of public roads while inclines can reach up to 16 percent. Interestingly, the vertical difference between the lowest and the highest point stands at 174 meters while the two lengths measure 1.11 and 1.92 meters, respectively. The turns are also quite narrow and very demanding so we have all the ingredients for an exciting race.
