Audi has announced several 2015MY vehicles will be offered with an AT&T mobile share value plan. The models in question are the A3, S3 and Q3 that come equipped from factory with the Audi connect system. Starting October 1, the option will be available to give clients the possibility of acquiring a monthly allotment of data to share among several devices. Audi is asking $10 for the monthly access charge for adding a vehicle to the mobile share value plan, representing the same amount of money AT&T is asking those who want to add a tablet to an existing plan.
We remind you that back in January, Audi in collaboration with AT&T announced the introduction of the first on-board 4G LTE system in the United States for the 2015MY Audi A3. Data plans for the compact model kick off at $99 for the 6-month plan with 5GB and goes all the way up to $399 for a 30-month plan packing no less than 30 GB. These 4G LTE data plans are also applicable to the hotter 2015MY AUDI S3 Sedan as well as for the 2015MY Audi Q3 which as mentioned before qualify for the AT&T mobile share value plan.
Besides the AT&T mobile share value plan, starting October 1 there will be a new monthly data plan for these three models. It’s targeted towards those who do not qualify for the aforementioned plan and offers a $20 / month plan with 1GB of data.
