The second generation of the Audi Q7 was on display during the Audi Night 2015 last Friday. The flagship SUV was originally introduced earlier this month in Detroit during the North American International Auto Show and then it showed up in what Audi likes to call the “home of quattro” in Kitzbühel for the jubilee year of the Hahnenkamm Race. The Audi Night of the Friday serves as the traditional opening to the Hahnenkamm Weekend and is being held annually in the Hotel Zur Tenne.
This year’s surprise guest was singer Mika while other notable mentions part of the 370-guest list include ski racer Felix Neureuther, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG Rupert Stadler and Luca de Meo who is a Member of the Board of Management for Marketing and Sales at AUDI AG. Other skiing stars were present at the Audi Night 2015, such as Maria Höfl-Riesch, Martina Ertl-Renz and Hansi Hinterseer who were joined by Franz Beckenbauer and Philipp Lahm as well as British singer Ellie Goulding.
Motorsport was represented by Audi DTM drivers Timo Scheider and Mattias Ekström along with the members of the Audi Le Mans team: André Lotterer, Benoît Tréluyer and Marcel Fässler.
All guests had the chance to take a closer look at the second generation Audi Q7 which is scheduled to go on sale later this year.
