The all-new Audi Q7 3.0 TDI quattro has returned in a new promotional clip which presents some of the model’s most important features. This particular version is the one that has lost a jaw-dropping 325 kg (716 lbs) compared to the first generation and this version presented in the clip has all the bells and whistles as it features the Audi Virtual Cockpit and 3D Sound, all-wheel steering and the matrix LED headlights with dynamic turn signals for the taillights.
Tipping the scales at 1,995 kg (4,398 lbs), the overhauled Audi Q7 3.0 TDI quattro has a 0.32 drag coefficient and compared to its predecessor it’s actually 37 mm shorter and 15 m narrower while keeping roughly the same height. The car featured in the attached footage has the 3.0 TDI engine delivering 272 PS (200 kW and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft), but you should know Audi will soon add a lesser 3.0 TDI version with 218 PS (160 kW) and 500 Nm (368 lb-ft).
The 272 PS model enables the full-size SUV to complete the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) task in 6.3 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 145 mph (234 km/h). In terms of fuel consumption, Audi says it needs 5.7 liters / 100 km and has CO2 emissions of 149 g/km.
