Second-gen Audi TT RS crashes hard at the Nürburgring

The unfortunate owner of a second generation Audi TT RS ruined his car recently on the Nürburgring due to an obvious driver error.

This appears to be a modified TT RS and it seems the driver was a little bit overoptimistic with his skills as he entered the corner too fast and ultimate lost control of his high-performance coupe and crashed hard into the side barrier, hitting it several times before coming to a stop on the grass. As you can see, the damages are quite extensive as the TT RS will now need new headlights, front and rear bumpers while the hood and front fenders will also receive some TLC after this crash.

The only thing that really matters is that the driver managed to get out of the car safe and sound and hopefully he learned his lesson and the next time he won’t go into a corner with so much speed, especially on difficult tracks such as the Nordschleife. The TT RS does have a quattro all-wheel drive system but that won’t save you when going through a corner with such a high speed and hoping for the best at the end.

Let’s just hope the owner this second generation Audi TT RS will have the necessary funds to get the car back to its former glory.
