There’s no shortage of promotional clips for the second-gen Audi Q7 as a new one was released this week. The Ingolstadt-based automaker is starting deliveries as we speak and in the meantime they are trying to rack up as many orders as they can which is why in the past few weeks we have seen our fair share of ads, with the latest one pointing out some of the model’s highlights.
It might not have the distinctive design of its predecessor, but the new Q7 is a much better car after losing a whopping 325 kg (3.0 TDI version) and it also has those fancy matrix LED headlights and the Audi virtual cockpit with a 12.3-inch fully digital and customizable instrument cluster. There’s plenty of space and versatility as the roomy cabin can host up to seven people on three rows and when you need additional space to carry large items, the second and third rows of seats can be folded flat.
The second-gen Audi Q7 comes with more than 20 assistance systems – most of which are optional – and can be specified with a Bang & Olfusen sound system as well as with the latest generation MMI navigation plus with MMI touch that comes with a much bigger touchpad. Needless to say, it has a permanent quattro all-wheel drive system so you have plenty of traction at all times, regardless of terrain.
