Save the Date for Audi’s Geneva Motor Show Press Conference

The 2019 Geneva Motor Show kicks off March 7 but it will be open to the press on March 5. That’s when the good stuff happens, to be honest, because us members of the press get to reveal the news to you fans a couple of days before the show opens to the public. On the first day of the show’s press access, Audi will be holding a press conference at 8:00 CET (Central European Time), which will shine some light onto the brand’s plans for the future.

During the press conference, we’ll learn about a few different things. One of which will be Audi’s plans for its new line of plug-in hybrid vehicles. We know that four new Audi hybrids will debut at the Geneva Motor Show; the Audi A6, A7, A8 and Q5 TFSI e, as they’re known.

The big news, though, will be the debut of some new e-tron products. Headlining the Audi stand in Geneva will be the all new Audi Q4 e-tron Concept: a compact all-electric crossover with coupe-like styling and over 200 miles of electric range. That should be incredibly exciting to see, as it will provide a glimpse at Audi’s first affordable EV.¬†Additionally, Audi will also giving us a preview of the upcoming e-tron Sportback, which should be very interesting.¬†Those will be on top of the Audi e-tron SUV and e-tron GT, which will be showing their faces yet in public again.

Audi will also be previewing its plans for the future and its major plug-in hybrid initiative, which should eventually see a plug-in hybrid variant of every model in the Audi range.
