Save the date for Audi’s press conference at CES

CES (Consumer Electronics Show) has become almost as much of an auto show as it is an electronics show, lately. The reason for this is the continued encroaching of the automobile industry into the technology industry. Cars are gaining more and more technology at such a rapid rate that they’re practically becoming computers with wheels. It’s just the way of the world that we live in. Customers want more gizmos, more gadgets and more connectivity. Forget driving dynamics, customers want in-car WiFi. So this year’s 2016 CES will have several automakers in attendance, showing off their latest and greatest in-car technology.

Audi will be one of those automakers. We know that Audi will be showing off some sort of autonomous concept that will have completely autonomous driving capabilities at speeds up to 37 mph. This is surely to compete with the latest Autopilot system from Tesla that’s been taking the world by storm. I’m sure Audi will also have several other technologies on display, such as the brand’s Virtual Cockpit technology and the like. Maybe even some alternative fuel technology, like the Audi h-tron Concept that will be debuting at the Detroit Auto Show this January.

If you will be in attendance, you should be in for one helluva show, as Audi will be displaying some amazing things along side many other automakers. But if you can’t make it to the show, Audi will be broadcasting live from CES, via satellite and on the internet. Audi’s press conference will be held on January 6, 2016 at 8:00 PM (Central European Time), 11:00 AM (Pacific Standard Time). Here is all of the information needed to watch the press conference and Audi exhibit live:

I've been in love with cars since I was a kid, specifically German cars. Now I get to drive them talk about them on the internet.
