All-new Audi Q7 rendered once again

Independent artist X-Tomi Design from Hungary has speculatively rendered the all-new Audi Q7. We are getting closer and closer to the official release of Audi’s highly anticipated second generation full-size SUV as the model will likely receive its world premiere in January 2015 at the North American International Auto Show. This latest render uses as foundation the most recent spy shots of prototypes undergoing last-minute testing.

It shows an evolutionary design which won’t be influenced by the stunning Prologue concept as the all-new Audi Q7 styling was signed off before Marc Lichte was named the company’s design chief. The all-new Audi Q7 will be based on the MLB Evo architecture and should feature a massive 363 kg (800 lbs) weight loss that will significantly improve fuel economy and reduce CO2 emissions.

Shortly after its introduction, the all-new Audi Q7 will spawn an e-tron derivative which is rumored to have the same hardware setup as the Porsche Cayenne S-E Hybrid. There should also be a range-topping SQ7 with turbodiesel engine and an electric turbocharged sourced from the interesting RS5 TDI concept. The regular versions will be powered by the usual array of 6- and 8- cylinder gasoline and diesel engines that will likely become more efficient and might come with additional power.
