The high-performance Audi RS Q3 crossover has just received more oomph courtesy of the engineers from MTM who have released an upgrade package. They managed to increase output of the 5-cylinder 2.5-liter turbocharged engine by 100 PS to no less than 410 PS thanks to a remapped ECU and a custom sports exhaust system. However, it doesn’t come cheap as the M-Cantronic engine mod will set you back 3,357 euros whereas the sports exhaust is priced at 4,699 euros.
Once the upgrades are implemented, the Audi RS Q3 will need only 4.3 seconds to complete the 0-100 km/h before hitting a top speed of 270 km/h. Additional output requires extra stopping power which can be provided by a high-performance braking system equipped with 380mm front ventilated disc brakes which do a good job at stopping the 1,730 kg crossover efficiently.
This particular vehicle has also been fitted with Bimoto 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped around in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 275/35 R20. MTM has already announced plans to work on an even more extensive power boost which will lift output to no less than 504 PS. They say an Audi RS Q3 featuring this power hike is “currently undergoing the obligatory endurance test on the test rig” so it will likely be introduced in the months to come for those who want the ultimate crossover.
