MTM has finished development of an upgrade package for the 2014 Audi S3 Cabriolet. The hot convertible recently entered production phase at Audi’s factory in Hungary and already tuners are turning their attention towards a vehicle which in stock configuration delivers a more than decent 300 PS and 380 Nm of torque. It comes as standard with an S tronic transmission which grants a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 5.4 seconds but after MTM works its magic the sprint is done in just 4.8 seconds.
It’s all possible thanks to a custom chip tuning package created by Motoren Technik Mayer which bumps output of the 2.0-liter four-cylinder TFSI turbocharged gasoline engine to 360 PS and 450 Nm. Aside from the power hike, MTM installed a bespoke stainless steel exhaust system with quad pipes which promises to improve the vehicle’s soundtrack if you are willing to pay the hefty 3,200 euro price tag.
Also on the menu are larger 380mm disc brakes, Bimoto alloy wheel set and a KW precision-adjustable coilover suspension kit. MTM says a fully modified 2014 Audi S3 Cabriolet will set you back 62,000 euro which makes it a full 13,000 euro more expensive than the standard car.
