Automobili Lamborghini, a wholly owned subsidiary of Audi, has achieved a record number of units sold in 2015. The firm, too, had a record year in 2014. However, this is the first time in the company’s history where sales have exceeded 3,000 units.
The Bolognese company sold 3,245 vehicle in this past year, to be exact. The new sales figures represent a 715 unit increase when compared to the company’s performance the year prior.

It is speculated that Lamborghini’s sales could increase significantly, nearly doubling, after the Urus SUV enters the market. Only time will tell.
Also, reports indicate that a new, ultra-rare, model will be added to the line-up this year. Supposedly slated to debut in Geneva, the new model is said to adorn a price in excess of $2,000,000.00USD. Reportedly based upon the Aventador, this new vehicle will also serve a physical representation of the company’s celebration of its founder’s, Ferruccio Lamborghini, 100th birthday.
