The RS version of the third generation TT is still about a year away but more and more renders showing the model are emerging onto the Internet, with the latest one being from RM Design who envisioned the 2015 Audi TT RS Roadster. We already seen a potential look for the coupe and now Remco Meulendijk from The Netherlands is sharing his vision of the range-topping roadster derivative.
Dressed in a significantly more aggressive body kit, the open-top vehicle manages to keep the understated appearance typical of a VAG product matched with a lowered sports suspension and a fresh set of five-spoke black alloy wheels. The back shows an aluminum-like diffuser with a dual exhaust arrangement and vents on the sides of the rear bumper.
Confirmed details about what will power the RS version are not available at this point but it is believed the model will adopt the traditional 2.5-liter, 5-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine taking into account the forthcoming RS3 will be powered by this motor as previewed by the A3 clubsport quattro concept.
The Audi TT RS Roadster will likely see the light of day sometime next year prior to going on sale late 2015. It will likely be followed by an RS Plus version that will pack slightly more power along with other visual and mechanical upgrades.
