A supercharged Audi R8 GT is currently up for grabs in United States for a cool $175,000.
It’s one of the only 91 units (out of a 333 total) built by Audi in U.S. specification and this particular car is no longer stock as it comes with a complete supercharger kit from Stasis. While the naturally aspirated V10 5.2-liter delivers 552 hp in standard guise, this one has been bumped to an impressive 710 hp and a peak torque of 523 lb-ft.
There’s more to this car than its supercharger package as the modified Audi R8 GT painted in glossy black also has Stasis wheels and an upgraded braking kit from the same tuner. In addition, Stasis installed a rear sway bar, R8 LMS-sourced oil cooler, along with a Capristo exhaust system and Ohlins TTX coilovers.
The supercar appears to be in top notch condition and it has been driven for just 17,294 miles (27,831 km). The $175,000 asking price may seem a little bit steep on first sight, but once you factor in all the upgrades, it doesn’t sound like a bad deal after all.
If this supercharged first-gen Audi R8 GT doesn’t float your boat, the company’s U.S. division is getting ready to finally launch the second generation of the supercar. It should be on sale in the first half of 2016.
