German premium marques Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz will bring their latest high-tech developments to 2015 CES. The Ingolstadt-based automaker is going to showcase the full interior cabin of its second generation Q7 full-size SUV which will include the detachable tablet that we talked about in a previous story.
Arch enemy BMW is going to present a technology called Remote Valet Parking Assistant capable of parking a car without the driver in it and it will be able to squeeze into an empty spot even in a multi-level parking garage.
As far as Mercedes-Benz is concerned, they will likely steal the spotlight at 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas as they have announced plans to introduce a research car that will boast the firm’s latest technologies in terms of autonomous driving, a trend very common nowadays among many car companies.
Aside from these major products, all three German high-end car manufacturers will also exhibit other technologies, such as Audi’s latest upgrades to the Audi connect system, lighting and infotainment.
These previews are just a taste of what’s to come in terms of high-end technologies for premium cars which will eventually trickle down to less expensive cars once the tech evolves and becomes cheaper to produce.
