The Audi RS6 Avant is now included in the Xbox One exclusive Forza Horizon 2. It’s part of a recently launched DLC called NAPA Chassis Pack which aside from the hot wagon also brings additional cars such as the McLaren 650S Coupe, Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged, Buick GSX, Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Sport and the Lotus Esprit V8 (free only in December).
The NAPA Chassis Pack for Forza Horizon is available right now for $5 in the Xbox Live store.
On a related note, it is believed Audi is cooking up an Audi RS6 Avant Plus model equipped with a V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine upgraded to 600 HP (441 kW) which would make it 40 HP (29 kW) more powerful than the regular version. The rumors are saying Audi will sell this as a regular production model rather than as a limited-run special edition.
The news hasn’t been confirmed so far but it could actually happen since Audi did launch a beefier “Plus” version of the RS6 in previous generations and they also had “Plus” derivatives of the TT RS and the mighty R8 V10 flagship supercar. Aside from the extra 40 HP, the RS6 Avant Plus should also get a boost in torque from the series 700 Nm (516 lb-ft).
