The facelifted Audi A6 is being showcased in a new video released shortly following the introduction of the 2015 A6 range which comes with a series of updates. The styling tweaks are far from being significant as we only see some subtle modifications to the bumpers, side sills, exhaust pipes as well as the headlights and taillights graphics. At an additional cost, the client will be able to order the refreshed A6 with either LED or matrix LED headlights providing better road illumination.
The A6/A6 Avant family is available with no less than three TFSI units that have an output which ranges from 190 PS (140 kW) to 333 PS (245 kW). In addition, there are five TDI motors generating from 150 PS (110 kW) to 326 PS (240 kW). All these engines meet Euro 6 emissions standards and overall the CO2 emissions have been reduced by 22 percent.
The 1.8 TFSI and 2.0 TDI in ultra guise are the most efficient engines offered, with the former consuming 5.7 liters / 100 km while the latter does just 4.2 liters / 100 km. The facelifted Audi A6 comes with an updated 3.0 TFSI engine as well as a tweaked 3.0 TDI clean diesel offered with 218 PS (160 kW) & 272 PS (200 kW). There’s also the 3.0 TDI bi-turbo rated at 320 PS (235 kW) along with a 326 PS (240 kW) version which powers the A6 competition models that for a limited period of time can develop 346 PS (255 kW).
The facelifted Audi A6 will enter delivery phase later this fall, with pricing in Germany kicking off at 38,400 EUR for the sedan equipped with the 1.8 TFSI while the Avant with the same engine begins at 40,900 EUR.
