If you’re like us, die-hard car enthusiasts, you’ve probably spent many childhood afternoons sitting in the backseat of your parents car, watching the cars go by and dreaming about which car you’d like to own. Most of us gearheads have done this and many of us still do. One of the most fun part of being a car enthusiast is figuring out a dream garage. The idea of a dream garage is to pick the cars you’d most want to own if money were not option.

This might sound like a simple idea, but just picking the most expensive cars on the planet is no fun. It’s fun to put parameters on the dream garage, like limiting the number of cars allowed in the garage, picking from just one brand, only being able to pick new or old cars and sometimes even making mandatory body styles. Then people start to get creative and come up with some really interesting dream garages.

So let’s do just that, let’s pick out dream Audi two-car garage. The only parameters are that there can only be two cars in this garage and both must be Audis, obviously. Also that these cars must also fit into your everyday life. So if you have a family, picking two Audi R8s might not be the best idea. I’ll go first, to give you folks an idea of how to do it and then you follow below in the comments section. Another thing, the two cars must be cars that are currently in, or have been in, production in the past. So no future cars.

2015 Audi Q7 3.0 TDI (UK-spec)

So, firstly, I’m going to have to pick and SUV. Having been recently married, I must consider the fact that a family might be coming within some years. Also, my Wife really likes SUVs. So there’s that. But if I’m going to have an Audi SUV in my dream garage, it’s going to have to be the Q7 3.0 TDI. The new Audi Q7 is absolutely fantastic and the diesel model is the best iteration of it. With a smooth and silky power delivery and a mountain of torque, all while getting decent fuel economy, the 3.0 TDI is the best Q7 there is. I’d get mine in Black with Black leather interior and the Virtual Cockpit. This would make for an extremely practical, efficient and luxurious cruiser.

Audi RS6 Avant Sepang Blue

For my second car I want something fast and powerful but that isn’t too impractical. So the choice, naturally, is the Audi RS6 Avant. The RS6 is an absolute monster. That 4.0 TFSI engine is a gem and makes gobs and gobs of power. It also has seating for five and a big trunk. And it’s Quattro all-wheel drive makes it a supercar that can be used everyday, even in bad weather. Audi RS6 Avant is the ultimate no-compromise supercar. It allows you to have a car with blistering performance and still take the kids to school. Mine would be Sepang Blue with Lunar Silver interior. So if I ever needed to shuttle the kids or dog around in the future, I still could, just with incredible speed.
