2014 Golden Globe Award nominee Daniel Brühl took the brand new Audi TTS Roadster for a quick spin around the streets of Berlin where he owns the Raval tapas bar. Known primarily for his role as Niki Lauda in “Rush”, the actor actually trained in a Formula 3 car in preparation for the movie and has been a fan of fast cars such as the Audi TTS Roadster ever since.
Introduced last year, the open-top sports car is powered by a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged gasoline engine sending 310 HP (228 kW) and 380 Nm of torque to a quattro all-wheel drive system through an S tronic gearbox. It sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in 4.9 seconds and will top out at an electronically-limited 155 mph (250 km/h). Despite the impressive performances, it manages to remain quite frugal as the Audi TTS Roadster will consume only 6.9 liters / 100 km with corresponding CO2 emissions of 156 g/km.
