We just can’t get enough of the Audi Prologue concept so we decided to share a video record straight from the Los Angeles Auto Show where the vehicle is currently being exhibited. Signaling Audi’s forthcoming design language, the concept offers a sneak preview of the next generation A8 which will be the first production model to adopt the new design direction implemented by Audi’s chief designer Marc Lichte.
The design is not what you would call revolutionary but even so it appears to be quite promising both inside and out so many are curious to find out how it will influence the A8. Audi has already said most of the similarities between the concept and their overhauled flagship sedan will be seen in the front fascia and the interior. Speaking of the cabin, the German marque will install fewer buttons in next-gen models as a move to create a more unclutter layout.
Getting back to the Audi Prologue concept, it’s a conventional-powered vehicle with a massive V8 4.0-liter TFSI gasoline engine churning no less than 605 HP (445 kW) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) channeled to the quattro AWD system via an 8-speed tiptronic gearbox. The stylish coupe will complete the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in as little as 3.7 seconds while the top speed has not been specified.
