Audi has managed to take home no less than three 2015 What Car? Awards. The first of the bunch was awarded to the A3 Cabriolet Sport equipped with the 150 HP 1.4 TFSI engine benefiting from cylinder-on demand technology and has managed to triumph in the Convertible Car category. According to the What Car? team, the car has an interior cabin which “exudes class” and the quality that you would expect from a car twice as expensive. They also said it’s “still the best open-top you can buy” and it should be mentioned it’s the second consecutive year when the car wins in its category.
Up next is the third generation Audi TT which won the Coupe of the Year award for the 2.0 TFSI Sport version which “it’s so good, we wouldn’t bet against it winning this award for the years to come”, according to the judges who were responsible for the 2015 What Car? Awards.
The Audi A3 Sportback e-tron has been named the Electric Car of the Year which “mixes the many merits of the A3 with even more incentive for company car buyers to make electric driving more accessible.”
The 2015 What Car? Awards also mention the A7 Sportback 3.0 TDI ultra SE Executive as a best buy in the Executive Car class with a price tag exceeding £35,000 while the A3 Sportback 1.4 TFSI SE is considered a wise choice in the Family Car segment for models priced at more than £20,000.
