According to the Center of Automotive Management (CAM) and PricewaterhouseCoopers AG (PwC), the two research institutes, Audi is considered to be the most innovative premium brand, winning an award of the same title. The Award comes from the Automotive Innovation Awards, who handed Audi three award wins recently, including the “Most Innovative Premium Brand” award, as well as the “Connected Car” and “Vehicle Concepts/Body” awards.
“These awards are both praise and motivation for our team,” said Dr. Stefan Knirsch, Member of the AUDI AG Board of Management for Technical Development. “We are an innovation driver for classic and alternative drive systems, lightweight construction and production processes, connectivity, driver assistance and piloted driving – and we are working continuously to maintain our ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’.”
This is a great win for Audi, as it projects excellence in the exact field that Audi is trying to make itself known for, technology. Audi’s slogan is Vorsprung Durch Technik (Progress Through Technology) after all, making this award doubly special for the Ingolstadt-based brand. Audi is also pushing the technological prowess of its new A4 sedan, claiming intelligence to be the new rock and roll and the A4 being the most technologically advanced car in its segment. So this award proves the A4’s technological superiority.
