It’s the holidays, officially, in most of the world. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah or whatever else it might be, this is the time of year for gift-giving, spending time with family and friends and sometimes making really poor life choices. But the popular holiday this time of year is Christmas, a holiday surrounded by the tradition of a large man that wears a read coat and delivers presents to all of the children of the world — Santa Claus.
If you celebrate Christmas, you’ve probably written Santa as a kid, asking for all of the newest and most popular toys hoping that Santa would deliver come Christmas Day. As adults, we don’t do that anymore, hopefully, but if we did we’d probably ask for more adult things. Maybe a car.
Most of us gearheads, if we had the opportunity to ask Santa for something, would ask for a car. If you frequent this site, you’d probably be asking for a brand-new Audi for Christmas. There’s definitely a few Audis that would be on my list. So if you were to ask Santa for an Audi for Christmas, which Audi would it be?
I can tell you which I’d choose. Firstly, if it was a gift from Santa, it wouldn’t have to sold in the United States, because it’s coming from the North Pole and not from the US. Secondly, it can be as expensive as I want, because Santa gets a lot of royalty checks this time of year and can afford basically anything. So, having said that, I’d have to go with a Sepang Blue Audi RS6 Avant Performance. Not only would that be the car that Santa would drive, if he had a driver’s license, but it’s the best car Audi currently makes, even better than the mighty R8. While the R8 would be on my short list, I’d have to choose the RS6 Avant, because I can’t buy it myself in the ‘States.
The RS6 Avant is just too amazing to pass up, especially in Performance trim. Pushing 600 hp with Quattro all-wheel drive in a wagon body is just the coolest thing in the world. It’s be able to haul five adults, some luggage and my dog at triple-digit speeds in supreme comfort. How does the automobile get any better? Plus it looks the business and has an interior worthy of an Emirates Air cabin. So if I were to choose a car from Santa, that’s what it would be. What would you choose?
