In Facit Research’s ranking Sustainability Image Score 2014 (SIS), Audi has been voted as the most sustainable company in Germany. Audi is proud to announce they managed to rank ahead of domestic rival BMW as well as Hipp. Talking about this result, Dr. Peter F. Tropschuh who is the Head of Corporate Responsibility at AUDI AG, „sustainability is strategically anchored with us as a yardstick for all products and processes.”
Peter F. Tropschuh went on to say that “This top ranking confirms to us that with the measures we are taking, we are on the right track to shape individual mobility in a responsible manner and to make our company fit for the future.”
It should be mentioned that the Sustainability Image Score is calculated by using a wide variety of indicators from various fields such as economic, ecological and social sustainability, just to name a few. Audi has managed to lead the rankings in all three dimensions, by being a popular employer and also a company that not only creates jobs but it also protects them.
In addition, Audi managed to become the most sustainable company in Germany by having green production plans and also by making investments in technologies which conserve resources and also protect the environment.
For this year’s study, more than 8,000 consumers evaluated no less than 104 companies from 16 different industries.
