Several days ago we posted a few images allegedly depicting the Audi TT Sportback concept and now an independent artist has decided to envision the production version. The attached render represents the work of Khalil Bouguerra from Virtuel-Car and shows a four-door coupe which would be a more worthy adversary to the Mercedes-Benz CLA and act as a sleeker yet more expensive alternative to the Audi A3 Sedan.
We don’t know whether Audi will be launching such a version but they have already confirmed the third generation TT will be expanded with a third member after the coupe and roadster and it could turn out to be a four-door coupe. From what we know so far, the Audi TT Sportback concept is 4.47 meters long and is also 3 cm lower than the regular TT.
It’s also quite practical as based on preliminary data it offers a luggage capacity of 850 liters once you fold down the rear seats. Since we mentioned the rear seats, passengers sitting in the back won’t benefit from a lot headroom as the sloping roofline will make taller passengers have a hard time squeezing on the rear seats.
It is believed the Audi TT Sportback concept will debut on October 2 at the Paris Motor Show with a four-cylinder 2.0 TFSI turbocharged gasoline engine outputting 400 HP (294 kW).
