Audi has had a lot of luck lately with with their favorite Dane, Tom Kristensen. Kristensen has been racing for Audi or VAG for the last nine seasons in a variety of series. From ALMS to Le Mans with the R8, R10 and soon with the R15 to DTM with the race-prepped A4’s, the pairing of Audi and Kristensen have resulted in 6 24 Hours of Le Mans wins, high placements in DTM and one win in the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.
Well, Audi is placing it’s confidence in Kristensen once more by having him introduce the yet-to-be-released 340 HP turbocharged TT RS. However, this isn’t the first time that Audi has used a famous sports car champ to introduce a car – when the Mk II Audi TT was introduced by sports car and Formula One legend Jacky Ickx only a few years ago. We here at 4RingBlog think Mr. Le Mans looks quite contend behind the wheel of this all new RS screamer from Audi!
