HPerformance is living up to its name by introducing a massive power upgrade for the old Audi TT RS.
While we’re waiting for Audi to show us the third generation TT RS, the German tuners at HPerformance have decided to make some changes to the previous gen, specifically to its 5-cylinder 2.5-liter turbo engine. After working their magic, the aftermarket specialist bumped the output to a whopping 750 PS (552 kW) and 880 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque.
To have this level of power on your TT RS, HPerformance is asking no less than €50,000 and in return you’ll get a Clubsport exhaust system and a GTX-35 turbocharger. In addition, the kit also includes R8-sourced ceramic brakes and a software optimization program from MTR-Performance. Other changes worth mentioning include the revised injectors and a newly developed high-pressure fuel pump.
Paying so much money for a power boost is indeed ridiculous, so HPerformance also sells a 600 PS (441 kW) upgrade for a more decent €9,999 and this should be more than enough power to have some fun with the TT RS.
Probably just for bragging rights, the tuner says they have already commenced work on a new range-topping kit that will take the output beyond the current 750 PS level.
