Audi is happy to announce the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers has voted the TT as the “Coupe of the Year for 2016”.
In the annual Scottish Car of the Year Awards (SCOTY) held in Edinburgh on Friday, the third generation Audi TT Coupe took the win in the coupe category after the judges from the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers came to the conclusion that it’s an engaging yet practical everyday sportscar.
According to President Alisdair Suttie, “The Audi TT embodies all that is best about coupés. Sporting, sleek and great to drive, yet practical for everyday use and a spread of engines that goes from fast and frugal to just plain fast! A huge hit with the judges, the TT also offers all-wheel drive to be the perfect coupé for Scotland.”
It should be mentioned the TT Coupe sold in Great Britain comes as standard with Audi drive select, a retractable rear spoiler and the 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit. Customers are also rewarded with a plethora of online services, like Google Earth, Twitter, online news, and many more. S line version adds LED headlights and taillights, 10mm lowered suspension available without extra costs, along with the typical S line goodies inside and out.
At an additional cost, the TT Coupe can get a Bang & Olufsen sound system, Audi magnetic ride, matrix LED headlights and those fancy digital displays built into the air vents to control the automatic air conditioning system.
