ABT Sportsline has introduced an upgrade package for the third generation Audi TT Coupe. The vehicle received an attractive red & black exterior theme which looks very nice under the light of the 2014 Essen Motor Show where the coupe displays its custom front skirt and different side mirror caps. The tuner’s engineers also installed a bespoke fixed wing as well as a skirt insert that houses two additional side attachment for a beefier appearance.
This particular Audi TT Coupe comes equipped with ABT’s 20-inch DR alloy wheel set shod in Continental tires while the rear end shows off four exhaust pipes finished in a sinister black look. Open the engine hood and you will find the base four-cylinder 2.0 TSI turbocharged gasoline engine which in the stock car generates 230 HP (169 kW) and a peak torque of 272 lb-ft (370 Nm). However, after ABT worked its magic, the motor was upgraded to 310 HP (228 kW) and 324 lb-ft (440 Nm).
The Audi TT Coupe tuned by ABT is showcased in Essen together with other projects developed by the tuner, such as a 400 HP Volkswagen Golf R and the impressive Audi RS6-R Avant packing no less than 730 HP and 920 Nm.
